At Cosmic Cat Coffee Co., we are dedicated to delivering the freshest coffee experience possible. Our coffee is 100% custom and roasted to order, ensuring that each batch reaches you at its peak flavor. Please take a moment to review our shipping policy below so you understand how processing, roasting, fulfillment, and delivery timelines work.
IMPORTANT NOTE - SHIPPING ESTIMATES:
Shipping estimates shown at checkout or elsewhere on our site are estimates only. They are based on historical transit data and may not reflect holiday volume, seasonal demand, weather delays, carrier disruptions, or other factors outside of our control.
All shipping estimates refer to carrier transit time after your package has been handed over to the shipping carrier. They do not include order processing, roasting, packing, or fulfillment time.
While Cosmic Cat Coffee Co. will always do our best to roast, fulfill, and ship orders as quickly as possible, we cannot guarantee a specific fulfillment or delivery date for any shipping option. All day-based estimates are measured in business days and do not include weekends or federal holidays.
References to Priority Shipping and Priority Roasting should be understood as referring to the same priority fulfillment service. Customers are encouraged to review the full shipping policy below for additional details.
SECTION 1 - PROCESSING TIME:
All coffee is roasted to order and requires processing before shipment. Orders typically take 1–5 business days for processing, depending on order volume and roast scheduling.
Processing time refers to the period during which your order is prepared, roasted, packaged, and readied for shipment. Processing timelines may vary based on order volume, seasonal demand, and holidays.
SECTION 2 - ROASTED TO ORDER AND SHIPPED SAME DAY:
When we say “Roasted to Order. Shipped Same Day,” this means that your coffee is shipped out on the same day it is roasted.
This does not mean that your coffee will necessarily be roasted or shipped on the same calendar day your order is placed. Orders may be roasted on the same day the order is placed or even up to a few days later, depending on processing volume, roast scheduling, and overall order demand. Regardless of timing, coffee is never roasted in advance and held—your order is always roasted specifically for you and shipped out the same day it is roasted.
SECTION 3 - SHIPPING TIME:
Once your order has completed processing and is shipped, delivery typically takes 1–5 business days depending on your location and the carrier selected. Shipping transit time is determined by the carrier and is outside of our control.
SECTION 4 - TOTAL DELIVERY TIME:
The total time from placing your order to receiving your coffee typically ranges from 1–10 business days. Average total delivery time is usually 3–4 business days, though this may vary based on order volume, carrier performance, weather events, and seasonal fluctuations.
SECTION 5 - PRIORITY SHIPPING OPTION:
We offer an optional Priority Shipping upgrade for customers who would like their order prioritized during processing and fulfillment.
Priority Shipping accelerates the internal handling of your order by prioritizing it ahead of standard shipping orders in our roasting and fulfillment queue. This generally results in total delivery times that are approximately 1–2 business days faster on average compared to standard shipping.
Priority Shipping does not change the shipping method, carrier service level, or transit speed once the package is in the carrier’s possession. Carrier delivery timelines remain outside of our control, and we cannot guarantee delivery dates for either standard or priority shipping.
In rare cases where a high volume of Priority Shipping orders are placed, priority orders are fulfilled in the order they are received and prioritized ahead of standard shipping orders. Because we roast a limited number of orders per day, Priority Shipping does not guarantee same-day or next-day shipment.
Priority roasting and fulfillment is included at no additional cost with all subscription memberships.
SECTION 6 - TRACKING INFORMATION AND LABEL CREATION:
Once an order is placed, a shipping label is generated as soon as possible and a tracking number is automatically sent to the email address provided at checkout.
At this stage, tracking may display statuses such as “Label Created,” “Label Printed,” or “Carrier Awaiting Package.” This simply means the label has been purchased and the carrier has not yet received the physical package. This is normal and does not indicate that your order has been forgotten or delayed.
Tracking updates will begin once the carrier scans the package after pickup. Please note that tracking updates may be delayed for various carrier-related reasons. For the most accurate and real-time tracking details, any tracking or delivery-specific questions or issues are best directed to the shipping carrier’s customer service team.
SECTION 7 - BUSINESS DAYS AND HOLIDAYS:
All references to “days” in this policy refer to business days unless otherwise stated. Business days do not include weekends or federal holidays.
Processing, roasting, shipping, and delivery may be impacted by limited carrier operations on non-business days and holidays.
SECTION 8 - SHIPPING RATES:
We offer flat-rate standard shipping and flat-rate priority shipping for all orders unless the order is discounted. All subscription orders and subscription renewals include free priority shipping at no additional cost.
SECTION 9 - SHIPPING DESTINATIONS:
Currently, we ship only within the United States.
SECTION 10 - LOST OR DAMAGED SHIPMENTS:
While we take every precaution to ensure safe delivery, we are not responsible for lost or damaged shipments once they are in the carrier’s possession. If you experience an issue, please contact our customer service team and we will assist where possible.
SECTION 11 - SUBSCRIPTION RENEWALS:
Subscription orders are prioritized to help ensure consistent delivery timing with each renewal. While we aim for consistency, slight variations may occur due to order volume or carrier delays.
